Although everything indicates that Conor McGregor will have his rematch against Floyd Mayweather in March 2023, Dana White, president of the UFC, is not convinced that the fight will take place.

In an interview for TMZ Sports, the director of the mixed martial arts company dismissed the report and said that it did not come from a reliable source.

“It’s complete bullshit,” he said. “The story came from a newspaper called The Daily Mirror, which is a tabloid in Europe. It’s total bullshit”.

It should be noted that the original report is not from The Daily Mirror, but from the British newspaper The Sun. However, the newspaper also has a tabloid format.

Dana White wants McGregor in the octagon

This is not the first time that White has voiced his opposition to the rematch. He previously indicated that McGregor’s return to combat sports would be in a mixed martial arts cage.
