MLS and Inter Miami fever is growing in Argentina with the Buenos Aires based ‘Filial del Inter Miami’ (Inter Miami supporters group) now 400 strong as fans of the Herons in the Argentine capital set to meet up for the first time in an official capacity to watch the 2023 US Open Cup final.

Speaking to Argentine outlet Olé, organiser Cacho stated that the idea to start the group was prompted by Instagram: “Many people messaged me on Instagram and told me that they can’t watch the Inter Miami games. So I posted a story saying that I was interested in setting up a branch in the country so that everyone who wanted to watch the games and support Inter Miami from Argentina could come together. I got a plenty of messages with lots of proposals and our idea for the group is that it’s a family-friendly place without any barra bravas types.”
