Coming to the Big Apple to face the New York Giants (4-8, 4-7-1 ATS) on the Week 14 MNF game, the Green Bay Packers (6-6, 7-5 ATS) are suddenly rating among the big cheese of NFL squads once again.
The cheeseheads have won four of their last five games. Green Bay has also covered in four of the past five games.
Meanwhile, the Giants are 3-7 straight up over the past 10 games. They are 4-2-1 against the spread over their last seven games, however. It’s Green Bay that is set as 6.5-point road favorites.

Green Bay vs NY Giants Betting Trends
In the NFL public betting splits, all of the love is going to the Packers, and we don’t mean Green Bay QB1 Jordan Love. Both moneyline (72%) and spread (73%) handle is strongly backing the Pack.
Green Bay is just 3-5 ATS as the away chalk since the start of the 2021 NFL season. The Giants are 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight meetings with the Packers. However, Green Bay is 5-2 ATS in the last seven road games against New York’s NFC team.
Green Bay is also 3-1 SU in the last four meetings with the Giants. But the Packers are 1-4 SU in their last five road games. The Giants are 3-7 SU in the last 10 games.
Eight of the last 11 Packers vs Giants games have gone over. The over is 4-2 in the past six games between these clubs when the total was less than 40 points.
Green Bay is the +7500 co-12th betting choice in the Super Bowl odds. The Giants are +100000 to win the Super Bowl.

Packers Love Conquering All Foes
When longtime Packers QB1 Aaron Rodgers left Green Bay last spring for New York’s other NFL squad – the Jets – it handed the reins of the team to heir apparent Jordan Love.
To say it was love at first sight between Packers fans and the new man under center would be inaccurate. He lost six of his first eight decisions as Green Bay’s starter. Over that span, Love threw for 12 touchdowns against nine interceptions.
Jordan Love is the ONLY QB in the NFL this season to throw for 850+ yards and 8+ TDs/no INTs over 3 games.

During the Packers’ current 4-1 ATS and SU run, Love has tossed 11 TD passes and been picked off just twice. In beating the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs and NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes, Love was 25 of 36 for 267 yards through the air. He threw for three touchdowns with no picks, finishing with a passer rating of 118.6. Love has a passing yardage total set at 228.5 in tonight’s Packers vs Giants props.
Giants DeVito Doing Better Than Expected
Since taking over at QB following the placing of both Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor on IR, Giants third-string QB Tommy DeVito has handled himself well. In his three starts, the Giants are 2-1 SU. He’s just the fifth undrafted rookie QB to win two of his first three starts.

DeVito’s passer rating has topped 100 in each of the past two games and his completion rate exceeded 68%. Over his three starts, he’s thrown for six TDs against one interception. Granted, DeVito’s two wins are against the Commanders (3-8 SU) and Patriots (4-8), so maybe take those outcomes with a grain of salt.
Packers vs Giants Prediction
In their past two games, the Packers have defeated a pair of division leaders in the Detroit Lions (NFC North) and Kansas City Chiefs (AFC West). Green Bay won outright last week as 6.5-point home underdogs to the Chiefs.
The Packers are the #7 seed in the NFC and would be a dangerous foe in the NFL postseason. They’ll also be too much for the Giants to handle. Coming off the bye, New York is 4-6 ATS following the bye week since 2013.
Packers vs Giants pick: Green Bay Packers -6.5 (-115)
